How to call a game
- Pick the game. Numbers 1 to 75, numbers 1 to 90, or the list from your own cards. Cards made on this site open the caller with their list and set code when you press Call this game.
- Call and show. Press Call next or the space bar, or turn on Auto call. Full screen shows the last call and the board big enough for a TV or projector.
- Check a winner. Ask the player for the card code printed at the bottom of their card. The caller shows their card, the squares already called and whether the pattern is complete.
- Start the next round. Choose a new pattern under Playing for, or press New game to clear the board.
Options explained
- Auto call. Calls by itself every 3 to 30 seconds (8 by default). Pause it any time.
- Voice. Reads each call aloud with a voice on your device. Turn it off for silent games.
- Read numbers as. “B 12” style, or traditional UK calls like “two little ducks, 22”.
- Undo. Takes back the last call if you pressed too early.
- Playing for. The winning pattern: any line, four corners, X, blackout and more. See all of them on bingo patterns.
- Set code. Type the set code from your cards (optional) so the caller can check winners.
- Print a call sheet. Makes a PDF list of every number or item for a paper backup.
Example
How long does a round last? It depends on the number of players: the more cards in play, the sooner someone completes the pattern. The table in how many bingo cards do I need shows the typical number of calls for 10 to 100 players.
For one card on its own, our simulation of the 75-ball game gives an average of 41.3 calls (median 42) over 5,000 simulated games for any line, close to the published figure of 41.37 from Wizard of Odds.
Tips and limits
- The game is kept in this browser on this device. Use the same device for the whole game.
- Keep the screen on: some phones dim during long games. The caller asks the browser to keep the screen awake where it can.
- Only the host’s device needs this page. Players need nothing but a printed card or the phone link.
