Bingo Fundraiser Planning: A Host Checklist
Check local requirements before planning a fundraiser. Then prepare cards, a caller, volunteers and a clear explanation of the rules for guests.

Start with the organizer and venue
Ask the relevant local authority which rules apply to your organization, venue, admission charges and prizes. Do this before advertising or collecting money. A free card maker does not provide permission to hold an event. This guide is an event checklist, not legal advice.
Prepare the room
Choose a caller position everyone can hear and see. Leave room for accessible seating and provide a quiet way to ask for help. Print a test page on the actual printer before making the full batch. Keep spare markers and cards at the entrance.
Assign responsibilities
Have one person call and another check claims. Give volunteers the same written winning-pattern and tie rules. Keep any event payments and records outside this website: it does not accept bets, collect admission or distribute prizes.
Rehearse before guests arrive
Run a practice round, check projector visibility from the back of the room, and confirm the sound level. Pause the caller whenever someone claims bingo. Record the result using your own event procedure.
